Welcome to the Vertigo Park website!

We're an East Kent (UK) based 80's covers band formed in 2019 and play an eclectic mix of great songs from that brilliant decade for music! We love what we do and enjoy playing live to audiences all over the South East.

The band consists of vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and drums, all played by talented musicians with great backgrounds in live music. 

- The band are fully insured and we have our own digital PA set up and lighting rig -

Vertigo Park play an eclectic selection of songs from the Eighties that includes artists such as David Bowie, Prince, Simple Minds & The Jam but also less well known songs by the likes of Squeeze, INXS, Genesis & Marillion. You might not have heard some of these songs performed live before unless you've seen the actual bands!

Apart from public gigs, we provide private hire of the band for parties or functions, so if you have an event and think we might be suitable, please get in touch with us via the 'Contact' page to enquire about booking the band.

In the meantime, you can find us on Facebook & Instagram under @vertigoparkband (where there are various videos of the band playing live) and you can also see us at one of our many public gigs that are listed on the 'Gigs' page. 

Private bookings are not shown on the 'Gigs' page, so if you're looking to book the band, you will need to check regards our availability for your chosen date.

BAND

Murray

Vocals

Our charismatic front man Murray is a versatile singer with an amazing vocal range! He has been involved with music since a young age and has gained a great reputation as a brilliant singer who is able to engage any audience.

Steve

Bass Guitar

Steve has played all over the UK, Europe & Africa during his professional career and has worked in the West End & on TV & Radio. He has worked with many chart topping artists and has also performed in front of 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium!

Mark

Drums

A fantastically versatile drummer with a background in jazz music, as he also works with local keyboard legend Chris Kennedy & his Dukes Of Swing. However, he loves Eighties music as it provides a whole different challenge to his brilliant drumming skills!

Benny

Keyboards

A multi talented musician who's very much in demand, as he plays a wide selection of instruments (bass, guitar, trumpet...) in bands and orchestras. His brilliant keyboard work adds depth to the music we play and allows us to play those big sounding Eighties hits!

Jon

Guitar

Our guitarist Jon does all the management for the band and is your point of contact if you wish to book Vertigo Park. Although having a career away from music, he has played guitar since a young age and has been involved with a number of bands.

We are lucky enough to have some fantastic dep musicians ready to stand in when one of the main line up of the band aren't available. They are Daniel Johnson & Ben Morris (keyboards) - Patrick Channon & Clive Gregory (bass) - Simon Jackson & Owen Coulson (drums).
